We offer sailing lessons for adults of all experience levels. Even if you have never sailed before, we have courses for you.
Basic Sailing
This course is perfect for the person brand new to sailing, or for the sailor who has some experience, but really wants to go through all the terms and basics of sailing from knots to sails.
Intermediate Sailing
If you have completed the basic course, or if you have previous experience sailing, we will team you up with similarly experienced sailors to continue your training. In this course we reinforce the basics and emphasize time on the water practicing boat handling skills.
Course Format
All of our adult courses are taught on our fleet of J-24s. The J-24 is the world’s most popular one design racing keelboat. It has been used by the top sailing schools for teaching since the mid 1980′s. Each evening, after a brief classroom session, students will head out on the J-24s with an instructor. We teach in very small groups (no more than 4 students to a boat with one instructor).
Course Dates
Our 2012 class dates will be up soon! Keep checking back! Thank you!
