Brianna — Program Director
This is Bri’s 2nd year at Sail Salem. As Program Director Bri is responsible for both our Adult and Youth Programs that grant over 300 children the opportunity to learn to sail for a dollar. As well as being our Program Director she is one of our head instructors carrying a US Sailing Level 1 teaching certification, professional rescuer, first aid, CPR, and open water lifeguard certifications. Bri brings to our program an education degree with many years of racing and sailing experience.
Jeff — Head J24 Instructor
This is Jeff’s 2nd year with Sail Salem. As a head J24 Instructor, Jeff leads our twelve and over group as well as our Adult classes in the basics of keel boat sailing. Jeff carries a US Sailing Level 1 certification as well as CPR, First Aid certifications. Jeff brings to our program a maritime background and many years of racing and sailing experience.
Paul–J24 Instructor
This is Paul’s first year at Sail Salem. He works with our twelve and over group as well as out adult classes teaching them the basics of keel boat sailing. Paul carries an American Sailing Association up to the 105 level, basic keel boat certifications as well as EMT and lifeguard training. Paul brings to our program years of experience teaching sailing and enough energy and enthusiasm to fuel our group of over 300 youth and adult sailors.
Meghan–Head Opti Instructor
This is Meghan’s first year at Sail Salem. Meghan works with our younger age group teaching basic Opti sailing skills. She carries a US Sailing Level 1 certification as well as CPR and First aid certifications. Meghan brings to our program experience in organizing and educating large groups of children from teaching music in public schools in RI.
Alex–Head Opti Instructor
This is Alex’s first year at Sail Salem. She works with our younger age group teaching basic Opti sailing skills. Alex carries a US Sailing Level 1 certification as well as CPR and First aid certifications. Alex brings to our program the gift of making youth feel comfortable and confident both on and off the water.
Hillary–Opti Instructor
This is Hillary’s first year at Sail Salem. She assists with our younger age group teaching basic Opti sailing skills. Hillary carries CPR and First aid certifications. Hillary brings to our program many years of experience teaching youth how to sail.
