In order to Rent a boat:

1. Step 1: Pass both Session I and Session II Adult Sailing Classes
2. Step 2: Take a 30 minute check out sail with an instructor
3. Step 3: Become a member
4. Step 4: Go Sailing!

• Note: If you already know how to sail,you may skip to step 2; membership may be purchased at anytime and is not required to rent a boat; If you feel that you don’t need Session I you can skip straight to Session II.

• Please call the Sail Salem office to set up a check-out sail or to schedule a boat for rental.

J-boats

• Member cost per hour: $20

Corporate Membership:

• Business: $200
• Supporting: $400
• Sponsoring: $1,500

Boat Storage

Boat storage is available to members of Sail Salem who are sailing in local community dinghy fleets. Currently we are offering storage for Snipes and Lasers.
We have Laser Storage for 12 boats in the racks for $175.
We have Snipe storage for up to 8 boats in a location on the back side of the hangar For $475
In both instances, a parking sticker will be provided to the boat owner for one year and one car.
