Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome volunteers both during the summer camp season and throughout the year. Areas where assistance would be appreciated include:

• Sailing instructors for the Adult Learn-to-Sail Program, 1 night a week for 5 weeks
• Photography and videography. We would like to build up a collection of photos and videos that document the various aspects of our programs
• Technology: Database & mail management, social media management, Web site management
• Fundraising and marketing
• Pre-season sailboat maintenance. While not the highlight of boat life, every year we do need to scrape the previous year’s junk off the bottom of the boats. Somebody must do that.
• Assistance during events
• Various maintenance tasks such as painting the outside of the Sail Salem office
